School

Well my day, so far, has NOT gone as planned.

I finished my enrollment on the first day of class (last Thursday), so I had to get my books late (today).I should have expected they wouldn't have two of the books I needed. They did manage to squeeze $350.00 from my wallet . Yikes! (can we say brand new car payment??)

Of course that would be my fault, because I "transposesd" my social security number on my application. Since my student aid is under the correct social, they can not match the files up to award me my darn money, until I change my social on my file at school. Which requires my social security card... Oh where are art thou social security card?? Also should have expected that I would not be able to locat the darn card.

How can you lose something as important as a social security card you ask? First, your name must be Brittany. Second, you lose everything, anything, always and forever. Geesh.

So I miss class #1 (Principles of Macroeconomics) to purchase said books.
I miss class #2 (Principles of Microeconomics) to drive around for 45 minutes looking for parking.

I now know the following, and would like to let all first-time college students to be aware (that attend RSU in particular, although I bet these rules apply at most colleges as well) :

1. Enroll as soon as you possibly can!
2. Get to school early! So you can find the ultimate parking spot.
3. Double check everything you write/type during the enrollment/application proccess, or it will come back to bite you in the butt!

Ranting is done for the day. Now off to class #3 (Introduction to Literature)& class #4 (Microcomputer Applications).

Have a wonderful day. Enjoy the rain. Mmmm.. Rain...
